This journey in the heart of Romania will bring us in three parts of the Carpathian Mountains. The South of Transylvania, where we will stay, has always been a strategic zone for the defence of the Austro Hungarian Empire against the Ottoman Empire. As such, impressive citadels were built here, and represent today an inestimable patrimony. |
